Sweet Memory

One week ago, My teacher "Constance" took our class to the bookstore.  Everybody was to choose a favorite book to read everyday. I bought a book called "four weddings and a funeral".  I spent a few hours one week and finished it.  This is a love story about four weddings and a funeral.  This is also a famous movie.   That was made 12 years ago. 

When I come home, I talked to my homestay mother.  I told her I bought a book.  My homestay mother said, if I finish it, she will get the movie for me.  I'm looking forward to watching the movie, so I spent a few hours to finished it. 

First, I was introduced  to the actor and actress.

The actors name is "Hugh Grant". In the story his name is "Charles".

The actress's name is "Andie macdowall". In the story her name is "Carrie". 

The actor "Charles" who is thirty-three years old, and good looking, is always late, he has a lot of girlfriends, but he always thinks and worries that he will never find the right woman to marry until he meets "Carrie".

The actress "Carrie" is a beautiful young American.

In this story there are a lot of people, I can't remember every one of their names.

At the first wedding, Charles is a best man who looks after the bridegroom and gives him the wedding ring.  He's always late, when he arrives at a church the wedding music starts. But he forgot the wedding ring.   He looks for someone to help him, but everyone is singing now.  Finally his friend found the wedding ring and that was a surprise.   It's in the shape of a large, brightly-colored plastic heart.

On the wedding he sees a beautiful girl who is an American her name is Carrie. After the wedding they spend the night together.

At the second wedding , the same things happen again.

Charles is late again, he meets Carrie and spends the night together.  They fall in love with each other.

Carrie wants to get married, but Charles doesn't want to get married. Carrie marries another man.   This is the third wedding.  At the same time the crash was Gareth, falling unconscious to the floor.   Gareth is their friend.

The funeral is Gareth's funeral.

The last wedding is Charles's wedding.  He gets married to his first girlfriend, when the wedding begins, he was very confused about who he loves.  Because, before the wedding he met Carrie who was separated from her husband.

Finally, it is time to start, His brother comes to Charles, ask to Charles："What's happening？"

His brother gives him three pieces of advice, Number one is just get married；Number two is go back the church and say ,"Sorry, no wedding today"；Number three is ......he can't think what that is.

Of course, Charles and his bride go into the church together. Suddenly, his brother gives him a sign and says what number three is.  Number three is you must only marry the person who you love with all your heart.  So, he decided not to get married at this time.

In the future, all his friends get married and have wedding pictures.

Charles and Carrie are still not married.  But they do have a baby ~~ a lovely little boy.
